No, that is crystallization and it is completely natural. If anything, it is a sign of raw, minimally processed honey. To return it to liquid, stand the jar in warm water and stir occasionally. Never microwave honey, as overheating destroys the natural enzymes that make raw honey worth having.

Will the jars survive shipping?

They are packed to travel, but glass is glass. If anything arrives damaged, contact the team and it will be sorted out.
