Application & Care:

Here’s how to get started with our smart and beginner-friendly NUC box:

1. Set it up in seconds - The box is lightweight and only takes about a minute to assemble. Clip on the smart lock lid and you’re ready to go.
2. Get your frames ready - Choose up to 5 full-depth frames with brood, honey, and bees from an existing hive, or prepare it for a swarm you’ve caught. Make sure the queen is included if you’re doing a split.
3. Place frames inside - Slide the frames neatly into the box, keeping them straight and evenly spaced. For greater control, you can add a queen excluder at the base.
4. Close and secure - Snap the smart lock lid shut. Unlike straps or tape, this keeps everything safe and secure while giving your bees the calm, dark space they need.
5. Adjust airflow by opening or closing the vents according to the weather conditions. More airflow on hot days, less on cooler days, it’s that simple.
