Raw Organic Bloodwood Honey Gift Jar with Wooden Dipper
This is a honey jar made to sit on the table, not hide in the cupboard. Inside the hexagon glass jar is 300g of ACO Certified Organic Bloodwood honey, finished with a bamboo lid and a wooden honey dipper that sits right in the honey, ready to use.
Honey from Native Red Bloodwood Trees
Bloodwood is one of Australia's lesser known honeys. Bees make it from the nectar of Red Bloodwood (Corymbia gummifera), a native tree that flowers only every two to four years, so supply is limited to small batches. It is raw, unfiltered and cold extracted rather than heat treated, which protects its natural enzymes, antioxidants and pollen.
A Flavour Worth Sharing
Bloodwood honey is dark amber with a layered taste of golden syrup and toasted caramel and a subtle woody, slightly smoky finish. Most people have never tried it, which is exactly what makes it a memorable gift for food lovers.
Designed Around the Honeycomb
The six-sided shape is a nod to the honeycomb cells bees build in the hive. The clear food-grade glass shows off the warm colour of the honey, and the bamboo lid adds a natural finish. With the honey dipper included, there is no hunting for a spoon. Twist the dipper, lift it out and let the honey drizzle neatly onto toast, yoghurt, cheese boards or into a cup of tea.
A Ready-Made Gift
At 300g, this jar is an easy way to try Bloodwood honey for the first time, and it works as a gift without extra wrapping. It suits housewarmings, thank you presents, hampers and Christmas.
