Raw Organic Bloodwood Honey in an Easy Squeeze Jar

This is the honey that lives on the kitchen bench. You get 500g (half a kilo) of ACO Certified Organic Bloodwood honey in a clear food-grade plastic squeeze jar with a flip-top dispensing cap. Drizzle it straight onto toast, porridge or into tea without reaching for a spoon.

A Rare Native Australian Honey

Bloodwood honey is made from the nectar of Red Bloodwood trees (Corymbia gummifera), a native tree that flowers only every two to four years, so this honey is only ever produced in small batches. It is raw, unfiltered and cold extracted with no overheating, so the natural enzymes, antioxidants and pollen stay in. You may see tiny flecks through the jar, which is a natural feature of raw honey.

Flavour You Will Notice

Bloodwood is a dark amber honey with notes of golden syrup and toasted caramel and a gentle woody finish. Its depth makes it a great everyday honey for baking, marinades, smoothies and hot drinks, where you want the honey to add flavour, not just sweetness.

Why Choose the Squeeze Jar

The squeeze jar is the practical everyday option. It is lightweight and shatter resistant, so it is safe for kids to handle and easy to pack for camping, picnics or the office. The flip-top cap opens with one thumb and snaps shut to keep the honey clean, with far less sticky mess than a spoon and jar. The ribbed sides give a secure grip, even with sticky fingers.

What You Get with Every Squeeze

  • 100% pure, ACO Certified Organic Bloodwood honey (Certification No. 10360)
  • Raw and unfiltered, cold extracted for full flavour
  • No artificial additives or preservatives
  • Monofloral honey from a single native tree source
  • Sustainably sourced from Australian apiaries

If Your Honey Thickens

Raw honey can crystallise naturally, especially in winter, which makes it harder to squeeze. Close the cap and stand the jar in a bowl of warm water (not hot or boiling) until the honey softens and flows again. Never microwave the plastic jar.

How much honey is in the squeeze jar?

Each squeeze jar holds 500g (half a kilo) of honey. The parcel ships at 1kg including packaging.

How does the flip-top cap work?

Flip the cap open with your thumb, turn the jar upside down and squeeze gently. Snap it shut after use to keep the honey clean.

Why won't my honey squeeze out?

Raw honey can crystallise and thicken in cool weather. Stand the closed jar in warm, not boiling, water until it flows again.

Can I microwave the squeeze jar?

No, do not microwave the plastic jar. Use a warm water bath instead.

Is this honey certified organic and raw?

Yes, it is ACO Certified Organic under Certification Number 10360, and it is raw, unfiltered and cold extracted.

What does Bloodwood honey taste like?

It is a dark amber honey with golden syrup and toasted caramel notes and a gentle woody finish.

Why can I see small specks in the honey?

The tiny flecks are natural particles such as pollen, which are common in raw unfiltered honey. They are safe to eat.

How should I store the squeeze jar?

Keep it at room temperature with the cap closed and away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not needed and makes crystallisation happen faster.

Is honey safe for babies?

Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months old. It is fine for older children and adults.

Should I choose the squeeze jar or a glass jar?

The squeeze jar is lighter and best for everyday, mess-free use. Glass jars such as our teddy bear jar are better for gifting and display.
