Serious sting protection that does not look like everyone else's

Ask anyone who has worked hives through a proper Australian summer, and they will say the suit matters more than almost anything else you buy. It has to stop stings, breathe well, and be something you actually want to zip up at 7am on a hot Saturday. A suit you enjoy wearing is one you wear properly, every time.

This is the full-length version of OZ ARMOUR's pink protective range, made from the same 3-layer ventilated mesh used across our premium suits, paired with the patented fencing veil. Sizes run XXS to 2XL, and matching pink gloves can be added at checkout.

Three layers of mesh between you and the bees

The suit uses three separate layers of ventilated mesh, together thicker than the length of a bee's stinger, so a stinger simply runs out of reach before it finds skin. Because the layers are mesh rather than solid cloth, air moves straight through while you work, keeping you protected without overheating, even on a 35 degree inspection day.

The fencing veil

The hood is OZ ARMOUR's patented fencing veil, with a front panel of non-tearable Italian metallic mesh. Unlike standard veils that snag and tear on branches or hive lids, this mesh holds its shape season after season. It unzips and folds back from the front, so you can talk, drink water, or check your phone between hives. A stiffening strip keeps the veil rigid and forward, so it never sags onto your face, keeping a clear gap between mesh and skin even during long inspections.

Built for Australian conditions

Heat, not bees, is what usually ends inspections early. Full ventilation lets you take your time on brood checks instead of rushing from overheating.

The details that keep bees out

YKK zippers are used throughout, since a suit is only as strong as its weakest closure. Thick elastic seals the cuffs and ankles against curious bees. Pockets are heavy-duty, Cordura-style fabric closed with velcro (not zips) so they can be opened one-handed with gloves on. There's a chest pocket sized for a phone, rear pockets for a hive tool or queen cage, and adjustable ankle detailing to sit properly over boots.

Why pink, and one honest note

Pink is easy to spot across an apiary, and most buyers simply like the look. One honest note: pink shows propolis and smoke marks sooner than khaki. If you want gear that hides a hard season's wear, khaki may suit you better; if not, pink washes up well.
